We help you before you purchase.
Individual counseling is available to all graduates of our Home Ownership Training and Financial Fitness Classes to develop an action plan before buying a house. We prepare you to buy a home. The Home Ownership Counselor is available to do intense credit counseling as well as assist clients with referrals to local lenders and real estate professionals.

We continue to help after you move in.
Post-purchase counseling provides a support system to help insure the success of our clients during the first three years of homeownership. This assistance is given to all client families.

AVOID FORECLOSURE

CALL FOR HELP —it's the most important thing you can do.  More than half of homeowners facing foreclosure did not call for help when they fell behind in their mortgage payments. Help is available at LaCasa in the form of Loss Mitigation or Foreclosure Prevention Counseling. Loss Mitigation Counseling has solutions available through an individual’s own mortgage company: LaCasa staff can explain and help with the process. LaCasa is a member of the HOPE Hotline 888-995-HOPE. Clients are encouraged to call the HOPE Hotline and complete a budget with an on-line counselor, and to ask that the completed budget be emailed to LaCasa. They have our email address. The HOPE Hotline is available 24 hours 7 days a week. Help is also available by calling LaCasa direct at 1-866-897-3899.
